Listening to Vince Lombardi on Leadership
While comming home from the hospital I listened to the audio of Vince Lombardi. I learned that it is not the amount of knowledge and ability that one has that makes a leader, rather it is the one who puts what they learned into action. He said it is important to study the history of the past leaders in school, but we need to put that into action during situations as well.
A person is being judged not on how many college degrees he has, but if he is the person who takes the initiative when he sees that there is a problem and does something about it. A person is a leader if he is able to demonstrate to others clearly so that they can do what he does.

Yesterday I was in Barnes and Noble doing some accounting work and reading my enzymes book. I met a couple who were studying in medical school. The lady was very energetic laughing at the stories her boyfriend shared with her and wanted to go for free to Medical School in Cuba.
I found out that they were into Yoga and then I told her that my cousins wife is a Yoga Instructor. I also do jumproping. What I learned from the secret language of prospects blog.
When a person in a homebased business speaks to a prospect one of the best questions to ask him is the following: When you downloaded the information what were you looking for? There are four different types of people in this world, they call it the four color personalities. Red, Blue, Yellow and Green.
The red personalities are the CEO's they want to know the bottom line. How much money will I earn in your organization and how many people do I need to have to get the $. They can't stand people who are timid and they want to always have control of the conversation. Do not try and coach them, give them the information and let them do it all by themselves. Whenever you complain they say roughly leave me alone. Red people mean that you need to do things in their way if you want to be around them, otherwise they tell you to go away from them.
The green personalities are the accountants who are very accurate. They are organized and are always persistent. In addition they are soft spoken and polite. Greens cannot stand no facts, people who are pushy and late commers. Five minutes late is a frown. Greens are tired of struggling in social situation and therefore would never say any of their weaknesses. Greens take a long time to make a decision and stick with it once its made. Its good that they don't quit, however one problem is that they stick with something too long that does not work and feel sorry in the end that they did not move on earlier.
The blue personalities are the sales persons. They are the life of the party and everyone wants to be around them. They are opposite of the greens, they do not like boring materials, facts and figures and not enjoying themselves. Greens help them in following up with people and telling them they have to work one person at a time, they need to organize themselves and must listen way more than they talk. Whenever you ask something or say something they give more than you need.
The yellow personalities are the best listeners, and they are the best color that you want to have on your team. They are soft spoken and know how to teach. Yellow people are dressed up very comfortable. They can't stand people who argue, builly. They answer things that are short. Yellows make decisions slowly with regard to joining you in your business, but unlike the greens they don't take forever. Once they see the strong relationships they can build and the wonderful conversations they can have with the blues they get going and build it.

Robert Kyosakis Lesson Playing Football
Robert Kyosaki played football in high school. His highschool had a great team. Robert sat on the bench most of the time.
One day he planned on quitting because he thought the coach had it with him. He thought that he was not liked. Of course his feelings were hurt. However, the assistant coach approached him and had a talk with him and asked if he knows why he was not allowed to play? Robert did not know the answer.
The answer was that his teammate wanted the position more than he did. His teammate had the spirit and Robert did not.
Robert still felt like quitting but instead for the next couple of weeks he practiced harder than ever and was focused. He made more tackles and intercepted two passes during his practice session which was hard for a lineman. He was still on the bench but felt better.
His highschool team was on the road and the regular lineman broke his arm. Then the coach turned to the bench and told him that he was in.
Robert Kyosaki learned whatever he wanted in life was up to him. There was no one in his way. If he wanted something he can't have just desire. Robert needs to know what it takes to be a winner before you can win. If you expect to get what you want for no reason, you are acting like you want something for nothing. Its a difference of expecting to be a starting player and being a starting player.
Robert learned the lesson from Mr.Clark which was the name of the assistant coach that in order for him to change his results he needed to re-evaluate himself and what he is dedicated to in playing the game. Once his thoughts and attitude changed then his action changed.
If Robert feels like a loser like he is weak and thinks the world is not fair or doesn't pay attention to him, he simply recalls his talk with the assistant coach. Then he works on his mind, then his actions and afterwards his results.

These days jobs are being cut left and right no matter how much education one has. Does not matter if its temporary or permanent. I once took a civil service examination. My score was a 90% on it. It took 11 months for them to get back to me for an interview. I was not chosen. Man I was disgusted. I spent a year earlier taking three tests and only the fourth one I passed. Having a mastermind group is essential. You cannot build a business by yourself. It takes a team of people to accomplish things. The people who you want to work with are those who are like minded. That person has to be someone who wants to achieve their goals. You do not know what person is going to build a big group for you. The last place you want to go to is your family and friends. Even if you show your business plan to them it is not duplicatable and many times you are likely to shoot yourself in the foot for doing so. They remember your mistakes and are trying to literally bring you back to their level. Forget what they think. Cause in their mind they are saying that you are lucky that they did not get you into trouble.
Think about this. There was no internet when Michael Dell sold his computers back in the early eighties in the University of Texas. He did not even approach his family members over it. He had his mastermind group whenever he had a question. IBM taught mainframes will be the future and wanted nothing to do with Dell. Man they were wrong. Michael Dell was living in a college dorm selling his computers and sold way more than IBM has. Funny thing about it was that the people from IBM had higher education than he has and wanted nothing to do with him.

Think about the singers who became huge successes. It took them hours of practice till they got to the top. Ricky Martin for instance wrote great love songs. Like Shes All I ever had. That song is a story of him about one of his woman making out of him a man. He wanted to give a message out to the people that he is the man he wanted to be and Ricky was passionate about it. A women can influence your life for the better if you listen to them. Its a good practice to do if you are in network marketing. It does not have to be necessary someone who you are dating. Creating Business Relationships In MLM Today Or Die
To do business with someone in mlm today you need to build relationships with them. You need to listen to them and find out what do they want. While you give your presentation the prospects thoughts are the following.
Are you someone whom they have common interests with? Do they appreciate your behavior in what you say and what you do? Can you explain to them the business in the tone of voice that you understand what you are doing? Because remember they have contacts and they do not want to look bad. They want to deal with a winner. Someone who is a team player, a coach looking after other peoples needs. Leaders solve the problems. They have a mastermind whom they ask their questions too. Just like Bill Gates, he did not have all the right answers when he did his business. He went to his mastermind group to ask them. That way their belief in their business increases.
Now its time to get down to business. Can I do what you did? Do you have a training call that I can plug into or any systems in place? Most of the prospects work during the day and they have limited time to do something about their situation. They need to see if they are able to expose their business to others and if they can meet their goals based on the number of people they need in their organization to earn a certain amount of money that they want to have each month.

Here Is A Story About MLM Leadership And Its Exclusiveness!!!
MLM Leadership is really vital to have. Especially in the network marketing industry. You are in an industry where you will have to be mentally tough. You can't listen to any negativity nor can you be bothered by the fact that someone else blew you off. Other people who aren't involved in the situation can sense that you are needy based on your tone of voice. If you feel that you are too pushy with someone else or you get blown off next time, I suggest you do not talk to them for a minimum of 6 months. That shows that you are confident in your ability to do things and that you can make new friends. Otherwise they will drain your energy and again people who aren't a part of your problem can see that you can't deal with others by accepting them the way they are. As a consequence they will avoid you.
