You must sponsor people whom you would want go on a 30 day cruise with, no one else. I have learned it from my good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy who learned it from his friend and mentor Tom Big Al Schreiter. I bet you are figuring out why? The answer is that we all live once and life is too short to do business with and deal with people whom you can not stand. They will just consume your energy.
A primary reason why people escape from a job is because they have not been treated like they deserved to be. A problem that needs to be eliminated is people being desperate and signing up anyone who can fog a mirror. If people smell that you want their money they are going to stay away from you.
The only person you need to focus on is someone who has a dream no matter how much or how little money they have. We all have heard about the rags to riches stories. Choose the people who need your help and have common interests with you. You want people who follow instructions and are people whom you are looking forward to see again.
If you are not having fun in network marketing today you are doing it wrong. People before the internet in mlm became millionaires as well.
Tom Big Al Schreiter back in the 1970's has built two network marketing organizations. One with a downline of 100,000 people and another organization with 300,000 people. It was using the face to face technique.
Michael Dlouhy my good friend and mentor did the same thing. He targeted the market by selling his life insurance products to people who already had life insurance. His father Frank Dlouhy influenced him by an excellent word picture back in 1972: Michael Dlouhy said that his father told him that after he is gone the next guy who his wife would sleep with would get the life insurance. So six years later when he began in network marketing in 1978 the life insurance agent who signed him up as a distributor told him to make a list of his friends and family and he said NO. So he had sold life insurance to people who wanted to pay lower premiums at the time and earn five times as much at retirement. When people were satisfied with their life insurance they asked him if he could give a plan to their family members. Michael told them to call them up and let them know that he was available Tuesday's and Thursdays.
Another person is Jerry DiRhino Clark who started out in 1987 and built an organization by talking to ten people per day just like his sponsor had told him to do so. He was 19 at that time in college and his organization can grow year by year.
If those guys chased anyone to be in business with them, there would be no story. They had it much harder than we have it in network marketing today. What is our excuse of saying the word can't find good prospects whom who we would love crusing with? We do not have any is the answer!!!

A Good MLM Tip Is Listening To Stories And Relating Them To Other Life Experiences

I got a good mlm tip. Everybody knows that we are all hard wired because ever since early childhood we have been programmed to want to hear stories. Lets say for instance every song that we hear. Every song has a story in it. Why do we sing parts of a song subconciously? We remember the lyrics to a section. Lets say for instance Michael Jacksons song Man In The Mirror. I recall when it stops in the middle of it and it goes "I am going to make a change, its going to feel real good Shimor Change better let yourself you know, you got to stop it yourself... Make that change!" Also at proms lets say back in highschool they song a Spanish song and there was a part where the DJ gave the Microphone to the crowd to finish the rest and went back is a another example.

Point is this: When we take the parts of a story whether it is a song or not and relate to other things we can open up new doors for conversation, blogging, articles and mlm success stories!!! We can learn not to quit from this story.
My former colleauge Eddie had a son who was an excellent baseball player and hit a ball a block long!! Eventually he was sent a letter by the New York Yankees to come and try out. He failed to show up. I do not know him personally but I do know that everything happens for a reason.

That little inner voice was telling him you can't do that. His father told me that he had become a police officer and I asked the father at the time is he unhappy with that? The father said no. But the point is this his life would in the long run be much more fruitful if he chose the first option of being a major league baseball player. That is similar to Uncle Darby who quit three feet from gold.

Be a leader and get the mlm truth by not quitting on your dreams. Make them come true and ignore the naysayers. See you at the top!!!

Without Genuine Excitement You Are A Dead Duck Floating In The Water

Think about the song from Flashdance "What A Feeling." That should be the national anthem for anyone who is pursuing a passion and wants to win big world wide. That has a lyric "Take Your Passion and Make It Happen". Before we go to bed at night we need to know how much money we want to earn every single month and what we want to give in return for it. Because remember there is no such thing as something for nothing. When we are lazer focused and have a passion for what we do then it becomes stronger in our eyes and smile. Lionel Richie sung in his song "Hello is it me your looking for, I can see it in your eyes, I can see it in your smile your all I ever wanted..." That means we must have the tone of voice of a winner. It is not limited to building an empire from home, it goes for the stories that we want to tell, the friends we want to make and anything we look forward to having in our lives.

We must stay busy with our passion because then people will take us seriously. The only way you are happy is when you can accomplish something and serve to other people your knowledge so that you can be recognized as an expert. It is not a get rich quick scheme. If you are here for the money become a lawyer or work two three jobs. People can smell desperation and those who are the top people in their profession will avoid you like the plague because they know what takes to win a business. There is an old saying that the scrubs get cut from the team.

One person whose mistakes we can learn from is Robert Kyosaki. Everybody knows that he was taught by his rich dad to be successful since childhood and went with his rich dads reality. Robert quit his job in sales prematurely in 1978 and it set him for the biggest failure since he did not have his product patented. He lost millions and became homeless. He made excuse after excuse. If it wasn't for his rich dad who said build the business again he would have been out of the game with the rest of the quitters. But he stayed focused and he went from being homeless in 1985 to becoming a millionaire in 1989 in real estate.

He would not have lost the money if he did not party to his head and buy the expensive race cars.

Also you do not need to get married and have kids to make you happy. Happiness is an inner thing. If you are into marriage in order for your kids to do you favors do not start that just like you do not start smoking cigarettes. It will consume your energy and your kids will stay out of the house if you chase after them, just like if you chase the money.

In addition if you are someone who says to yourself the word "Who do you think you are?" then do yourself a favor and put the past behind. Your parents do not owe you a thing nor does anybody else. They did the best that they could with whatever they had.

The way to be excited is this. You must do 30% of the talking with short answers to your enthusiasm and your prospect must be the one who is curious 70% in the conversation. God gave you two ears and a mouth. Use it to have posture like that or lose it!! See you at the top!!!

Translating Memories From Little League Baseball Into Network Marketing Today And Applying Them

Here are some of the memories from my little league baseball career that I think are crucial for success in network marketing today and below I am translating it and PUTTING IT INTO ACTION for us to take!!!

You already had your first strike: The translation of that is that is to me is that after you have spoken to your first customer and your first person you will then know where to adjust.

Steal Second Base: Imagine yourself stealing second base when no one is looking. That means that whatever you have heard from your invisible counselors in the past whether you are in contact with them or not, you are stealing second base anyway based on taking action of whatever makes most sense to you. In other words you are taking action immediately whether you are ready or not. Do not care about what the cows say. They have never built a downline and stop worrying about what they have to say. They did not do your homework in school for you. Duh!!!

Shorten your swing: That means do not overswing or swing for the fences. You do not want to go for a home run or else you will strike out. Go for a base hit so that the runners in scoring position will score. That means build relationships just like if you were to be dating someone. Do not brag about yourself by saying I, I, I, because it is a BIG Turnoff to someone else. Rather do yourself a favor and ask genuine questions at the most three that have to do with the topic. Do not speak out of term. Keep testamonials and answers to questions with testamonials short.

Let The Other People Get Picked Off First Base: The meaning of that is that they are the ones who are wasting their time by just confusing you by giving you opportunity after opportunity without examining the facts. Imagine them getting picked off first base so many times that they are tired of being on the bases and want to take a rest on the bench? While they are doing that you have stolen second base, third base and home plate!!!

Each time before I work my PLAN OF ACTION I play a record in my head on all that!!! See You Guys At The Top!!!

Why Is No A Bad Thing In Network Marketing Today?

Imagine you and your wife head for a cruise in the Gulf Of Mexico. You go to the jackuzi and you are hugging and kissing for an hour. Then guess what happens? Your spouse says all of a sudden we can't talk anymore. You then ask her why and she says because I said no. The people who have been asking you to make a list of friends and family and telling you to get a 100 nos in this business are charlatans. You are not getting closer to a yes each time someone tells you no. Friends and family as well as strangers can not stand being sold. Isn't three nos bad enough?


Your best solution to assist you in finding common ground with your prospects is to learn the secret language of prospects and ace it. Three nights a week our mastermind call contacts leads and determines what color they are, in order to find out what turns them on and what turns them off.

Flexible Planning In Network Marketing Today

In network marketing today we must have flexible planning or else we will get nowhere. In this profession just like anything else in life adjustments need to be made. In Napoleon Hills book Think And Grow Rich he mentions that you must start from scratch and build new plans if your original ones do not work.
We must avoid being like Samuel Insull. He lost a fortune over one hundred million dollars. His plans at first were excellent. However the depression had forced him to change it and he refused to have done so. What we can learn from that is that we need to be persistent and make new plans when our plans do not work.
Another factor we must consider is our why? We of course must take action and have a strong why that will keep us in the game during criticism of a loved one or any other negative circumstances. If our why is 70% and your obstacle is 72% you are out. But if it is 100% you are in.
We need to shy away from being wishy-washy when our plans do not work. And we can not procrastinate. Not doing anything is a decision and it is equivalent to procrastination. That will be fear.
Bottom line is that if we work our plan meticulously and are not attached to the result, we will then all be stars!!!

What In The World Is Genuine Commitment In Multilevel Network Marketing?

Genuine commitment in multilevel network marketing is sacrificing fun and games for tommorows prosperity. John Smith once said "no work, no eat." That is the same thing that applies to network marketing today and always will of course in the future. For you to be able to be dedicated to building your organization you have to learn how to say no to other options. When people see you being successful they are going to ask for you to do them favors. Tell them gentle but firmly no, especially when you are working from at home. People will think because you are for most of the day in the house that you are like a 24 hour Seven Eleven and will try to suck your time away. You may asking is why? The reason why is because all they are used to is being told what to do by their boss and they do not ask themselves, what do I do if my job leaves me or my boss leaves me.

It is just like a bucket of crabs trying to get the one that climbs out back in. In other words saving someone else from success is dangerous. First of all your relationship does not get better. Second of all you are not ALL IN to your friendships and your business. It is just like gossiping between two other people who have difficulties with each other. In the end both of them will hate you more than they can't stand you, because you were the messenger.

As a kid you used to have to say no to peer pressure and the bullies. Here you have to do the same thing. If they can not adapt to your situation just let them exit your life, and if they can you will have more respect.

The main thing is that when you committ and pay the price in network marketing today, the entire auditorium will say BRAVO I knew you can do it.

What You Think Is What You Get Is The MLM Truth In Multilevel Network Marketing

Everybody knows that this mlm truth is as real as oxygen. Imagine sponsoring someone into your multilevel network marketing business whom you would want to go with on a 30 day cruise. If you think you will sponsor someone like that, then that is what you get. We can end this story here but I am going to discuss with you what I have learned from our mastermind call this afternoon.
Whatever habits we have acquired has been passed down from generation to generation. My friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy was abused as a kid and he had four brothers and two sisters. Two of his brothers died from the abuse. When Michael Dlouhy got married to his wife Linda he did not want to have any children because he was afraid that he would abuse them. Linda never pressured him. However things ten years later things changed for Michael. He admitted to Linda that he was ready to have children. Linda cried and told him that she knew that he could do it.
What does that mean for us in network marketing today? It means for us that if we want to make more then we must become more. Just like in Michael Jacksons song Man In The Mirror, "I am going to make a change for once in my life" it all starts with us. We have to become the person whom prospects want to be in business with. When we want love then we attract love, when we look for prosperity we attract prosperity. Like attracts like.
By the way I just listened to that song Man In The Mirror to cut the chatter out of my mind so that I do not fall behind. My suggestion to you is to listen to that same inspirational song as well if you want to change and pay attention to the part where it goes "I am going to make a change..its going feel real good Shimor, Change.." He cries so hard in that part that he represents that he has a why that makes him cry. If your why does not make you cry then you don't have one. Also I have mentioned in other articles that we have been all hardwired to hear stories, since childhood. Like the Incy Wincy Spider...down came the rain and washed the spider out...out came the sun. People love hearing stories. And everybody knows that testamonials sell as well.
Thirdly get plugged into a mastermind group for you to develop a stronger sense of attraction just like you build muscles lifting weights. There is an old saying that to make more you must become more!! Michael Dlouhy says "If you want to be a millionaire mastermind with millionaires" To be that way you must do just what I described previously for you the person whom others want to be in business with.

What Network Marketing Meant To Art Jonak During His Early Days

Everybody knows that Art Jonak has been working as an electrical engineer in Charlottesville Virginia. He witnessed two scenarios at his job that made him want to go out there and win for his family. One of the bosses who was two levels higher than Art asked him if he could borrow a $20 bill. Art said to his boss okay. Next while he worked there one of his coworkers who worked at that company for 20 years had a heart attack at work and died at the office. He was just 52 years old. Another thing that Art Jonak wanted to give up was the need to ask the government for food stamps in order to buy milk for his baby daughter. In addition to all that he was working three other jobs and with his highest paying job as an electrical engineer he could not stand being stressed out and had the fear of getting fired when he got promoted.
So Art Jonak decided that he wanted to do network marketing and create his own toll booth that would pay him while he is on vacation and of course while he is a sleep. By learning the people skills and working on himself he after a few years of struggling became coachable and did exactly what his mentor told him to do. Then slowly but surely his business exploded and he got wealthy.
Furthermore he is my good friend and mentor of my good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy. And Michael Dlouhy interviewed Art Jonak before he decided to work with him.

A Crucial Network Marketing Truth Is To Be Selective Of Your Mastermind Group

Today on our Monday leadership call with Michael Dlouhy I have learned that you have to be selective of your mastermind group. Michael Dlouhy is living proof of that point. He did for everybody a big favor when he joined over 100 companies in a two and a half year period of time, because he wanted to see what worked and what did not work. His results of what he had seen was companies selling to the representatives very expensive tapes, expensive binders and telling them to make money by recruiting representatives without doing retail. And of course they were doing friends and family and were turned into being the pushy sales people that 98% of the population hate. That is the wrong mastermind group to select.
At the end of the two and a half year period Michael Dlouhy had to rent a Uhaul dump truck to dump whatever brochures, ringbinders and any tools that the companies sold to the reps because everything in there was from lack and he questioned if those companies had five pillars and NONE were. Many people on todays conference call had brochures from old companies. Just looking at the brochure or anything else from the old company that leads you in the wrong direction is enough to destroy your success.
Select the people from your mastermind group who are from abundance and want the same thing you do. They must either be learning from experts or be experts themeselves. Many people think for instance Robert Kyosaki has advice about network marketing. He of course is a great writer, but he has never built a downline. If I needed advice on real estate I would go to someone like him.

A serious person is eager to learn. He calls you all the time with lots of questions that he wants answered. He asks for help by asking you to visit with him to sponsor or train that person.
He is excited about the business by understanding enough about the program and they know it works!! They make a commitment by purchasing and using the products and all of their spare time is being spent on learning about the products and the opportunity.
They have goals because goals are the things that drive a person to get what they want. They do not have to have them written down, but everybody knows that it’s better to have them written down because it will make you have a stronger desire to take action. The MLM Truth For Everyone Is To Get Rid Of The Elephant In Da Brain!!!

Everybody knows that the mlm truth is to get rid of the elephant in your brain. In other words your subconcious mind rules thousands of peoples lives. You were not born with it. When you were a baby your hard drive was empty. But people who influenced you had contaminated it. I bet you want to figure out how to get rid of those pathetic thoughts. First of all you have to say your self talk out loud to cut the negativity out of your brain. Next is that you have to have in your mind all the positive emotions to move forward. They are Faith, Desire, Sex, Love, Enthusiasm, Hope, Prosperity and Abundance.

Another network marketing truth is that everybody says that the minute you open your mouth is the time when you are training your prospect. He is going to make his decision NOT based on the facts but based on emotion. So you must have the positive emotions in there when speaking to him.

There is an old saying that everyone wants to be a part of something big in network marketing today. Whether or not someone is negative or positive they want someone whom they can follow. That is a role model or a mentor. That means that they do not want to hear information, information, information. They want to be able to point their prospects to the third party tool. The leaders who spend less time on the phone and more time prospecting and signing people in a given week or day are the ones who win.

The ones that have to get their act together are the ones who are procrastinating. Napoleon Hill in Think And Grow Rich says that Indecision and Procrastination are two twin brothers. It is the same meaning. Guess how that happened. It has to do with the subconcious mind. Lets say for instance your why is to be able to earn an extra paycheck so that you can take that vacation with your kids and you for whatever silly reason delay doing your business. Subconciously you are telling your kids no. Like I have mentioned in previous blogs the Slight Edge, it could go on the downside as well.

The more times you say no to your kids the more they will say later on no to you later in life. So indecision and fear both blend into doubt. Therefore you must do whatever it takes to be an mlm champion for your family whether or not you feel like it. Never let your emotions rule you because many people who let that start out comfortable at the very begining end up uncomfortable at the end.

This is what Randy Gage mentioned. "Be enthusiastic to attract your top five leaders so that your five legs should be chasing after you and do the things that other people will not do so that you can hit the beach when others can't."

The answer to that question is not taking responsiblity. Everybody knows that when you are over 18 years old you are by law responsible for your own life. Why do people avoid taking responsibility for 10-50 years? The reason why is because they do not have a definite purpose of where they are going in life. To have a definite purpose you have to have a burning desire for what you want to accomplish. Lets say you want to be a six figure income earner in two years. What do you do? First of all everybody says that if you want to be a six figure income earner you have to ask what a six figure income earner did and not question it. Even if it is painful do it. I heard from Jim Rohn "the price of success weighs ounces and the price of failure weighs tons." Second you gotta ask what is most important to you in life? Are you being asked to do too many requests that take over your business? If yes and you are being disturbed tell your folks in a firm way no I have four appointments with clients that I have to make and I can not do it right now. If you say a few times no and they fail to adopt do your business outside the home in a library or Starbucks where you have the least distractions. People too often forget about the Slight Edge, that it is invisible results are being produced based on every single task that needs to be done. My friend Art Jonak had two of his friends join him in business during the same week. They both earned $1000 after 6 months. After 12 months the second guy's income was $5000 per month. However after 24 months the second guys income was $50,000 per month while the first guys income remained at $1000 per month. Why did that happen? That happened because the first guy focused while the second one did not follow the system and wandered off.

People do not know where to get advice from. My good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy says that if you want to get open heart surgery don't ask a dentist about it. A dentist of course does not know anything about it. Yet people are not selective with whom they should ask advice from. Do not ask your best friend if he is not living the life you want to live.

We can all learn from Michael Dell and Bill Gates because they were youngsters when they had they were in business. Bill Gates was in the late 70's when he started and Michael Dell was in the late eighties. They believed everyone will have a desktop computer in their house. While IBM told them it will never happen. Guess what IBM lost and Gates & Dell won. Dell Corporation was started in a college dormitory and Dell saw the end result.

Napoleon Hill mentions that if you do not know what you are majoring in college you should stop going. I have a childhood friend who dropped out in his third year of college and he used to say that you do not need to have college to become successful in life. He went back to college only because he knew why he wanted to go back for, NOT because of the degree.

He was 25 years old at the time and was always an A student. If he could make excellent decisions so can we!!! It does not matter if it is in network marketing or not!!!

We can all learn how to see the end result and go back to the beginning. We must plan what we do tommorow tonight, just like we did our homework the night before we went into school. In The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People Steven Covey will tell you the rest of the story.

Be Persistent And Do Not Quit Building Your Best MLM Business

My good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy returned last night from the Network Marketing Mastermind Event in Houston Texas. He heard the top Network Marketers speak there and found out one thing that they all had in common with respect to building their best mlm business. That was persistence. They never gave up no matter how steep the road has been. Their income comes from three four key leaders who did not give up either. Since the time their leaders joined them in business it has taken them from the range of 18 months to 36 months for them to start building. Everybody knows that in network marketing today most networkers quit on their downline because they think that time period is too slow. Big mistake!! Maybe they have other issues going on in their lives right now and the timing may not be right for them or they are still reinventing the wheel. You do not know what you do not know.

Also since network marketing is no different from dating someone then they should keep in mind that there always comes a new distributor. And they fail to realize that the people who will make them the big money are people whom they do not even know yet. Therefore they should quit worrying about what their family says, or their friends say or anyone else whom they know. The main idea you should ask yourself is this: We only are responsible in any network marketing company to do two things. Gather a few customers and teach others to do the same thing. If everybody applied the fact that they recommend and promote every day but they haven't collected the check, it would make the world a better place for you and for me. In Michael Dlouhy's e-book Success in Ten Steps he describes that it takes a doctor to get educated for 8 years before he has a chance to earn income and in network marketing in 8 years a networker if he has followed our recepie can earn at least ten times the amount that a doctor does. Why give up? Why turn your life over to the government or an employer that uses you? "Did you know that most Americans at age 65 have a negative net worth?" It makes no sense. The price of success weighs ounces while the price of TONS!!

Be the person who says I am glad I did. Rather than I wish I had!!! The way you can do it is by the plan, do, review adjust method. Do not be wishy-washy, be someone who reviews their plan & spots where they went wrong and makes adjustments by going in the right driving direction!! Time to get back on track for everyone!!! And remember that success is a journey where you keep on growing NOT a destination. Like Napoleon Hill says in his book Think And Grow Rich "The person who stops studying is doomed for mediocricity." Don't be average, be a SUPERSTAR!!!!

Give MLM Help To Prospects With Emphathy Not Symphathy

You need to give mlm help to your prospects with emphathy not symphathy because with emphathy you are putting yourself into your prospects situation and with symphathy you are feeling sorry for what ever happened to him. Most people in network marketing do not know this difference and that could destroy results because they skip the obvious factor in building a connection. Emphathy can also be used by telling a story about your experience or someone elses experience. You will annoy your prospect with symphathy because you will be a part of the problem not the solution. And everybody knows if you feel sorry for someone else you make the situation worse. Furthermore they can get you into trouble for reasons that you do not understand and you are not in rapport. And everybody knows that when you are not in rapport you are not friends.

Apply the use of emphathy today when building your business and then your prospects will duplicate that just like the Mc Donalds franchise is duplicatable. My friend and mentor Ken Klemn talked about that topic last night on our Mentoring For Free Coaches corner call.

Here Is A Story Of Sam Walton That Relates To Best Price Of MLM Product

Everybody knows that Sam Walton saved retailers like Hersheys Chocolate, Nestle Crunch etc a ton of money. Sam Walton saw that they had expensive overhead and saw an opportunity for them and himself creating a win-win situation. He contacted them and told them that he is going to sell for them their products and will pay them a percentage of whatever is being sold. Sam Walton opened up Wal Mart stores across the nation to do just that. What was the result? A bunch of companies saving their money on their overhead and getting paid lets say a huge percentage of the sale of their product, due to Sam Walton storing it in his Wal Mart Stores. Because he was brilliant to ask MANY other retail stores as well to do that, he became one of the richest guys in America.

How does this relate to network marketing. Lets say for instance company A's product price is $80 and company B's price is $40. Lets say you get 5% commission on company A's price which is $4.00 when the product is sold and you get 40% commission on company B's product which is $16.00. The reason product A's price is more expensive than product B's price is because A has to pay overhead like for employees, the lear jet, the cars and the show offs. Company B cares about you and will pay you the most for when retailing products.

Companys that say that you do not need to retail, stay away from them. My friend Richard Dennis used to only retail products and a good customer asked him if he could turn himself into a distributor. That one distributor exploded his business.

Everybody knows that "If you help other people get what they want then you will get what youi want" Zig Ziglar so when you give a product to a customer that will change their lives you will have met that fufillment.

And when a customer who becomes a distributor spreads the word to others on what the product did to him, then he is branding himself and will build it big. Especially when he is in Company B.

Leverage Off Of MLM Superstars In Network Marketing Today

Whether you are a newbie or not do yourself a big favor and leverage off the superstars. Today I was listening to a conference call done by my good friend and mentor Ken Klemn. This exclusive example that he gave of Michael Dlouhy our good friend and mentor putting a picture of him and Tom Big Al Schrieter on the landing pages hit the nail on the head. Back on December 12, 2004 the e-book Success In Ten Steps came out online. Michael Dlouhy then was not known. Michael Dlouhy is a visionary because he had done consulting for other network marketing companies after using the five pillars and he wanted others to avoid struggling for good. So he has been teaching networkers online for the past 6 years and built other mentors from that. He also applied the principle of John Maxwells book title Developing The Leaders Around You.
I myself leverage off of Michael when I speak to a new prospect like this. Top MLM Secret Revealed Today Is No Substitute For Activity

All the top money earners in mlm and in any other profession out there have taken activity over and over again. For instance Michael Jordan he got cut from his basketball team in highschool. That of course would be pretty discouraging for anyone to quit. But god was testing him out right there to see how badly did he want to make it. But Michael Jordan gave up all of his free time just to be the best shooter and get better andc better at it. Arnold Schwarzenneger the former bodybuilder who wanted to make the movies, broke into the gym back in Austria because he wanted to be the champion. Many people these days think you have to be born with natural talent to do something. That is not true. Nobody on earth was born in the hospital with a necklace around them called all star. Those people who are child prodigies and born with special talent frequently take things for granted and think they are shortcuts. It is so not true. I remember when I was playing back in highschool basketball the coach criticised someone when he finger rolled the ball that he had not come to practice. And on another occasion the coach mentioned to someone that to make the mistakes in practice not in the game. The biggest failure out there is when people do not make adjustments and keep doing what they have always been doing. Unfortunately they are missing out on the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. My good friend and mentor Sarah Thompson mentioned that when doing advertising people do not retest ads. Even if you are good at doing what you are doing there is an old saying that there is room for improvement. You have to get better at it. Florida - I am the guru's woman.

I was born in Island Falls, Maine. It's a little ghost town now. We moved to Connecticut. My dad was sick. He died when I was 2 ½. When I was 11, we moved to Florida.

I had a severe case of rheumatic fever. We found a great doctor and a great hospital. I got better. I went to high school and met Michael. The Wild Ride began. I tell him he's Clyde, I'm Bonnie.

"I'm HERE! I'm HERE!"

Back before Matthew was born, about 24 years ago, we went home to Northern Maine for a family reunion. Michael & I laugh. There's a big marquee when you enter the state. It says, "Maine: The Way Life Should Be." Yeah. No jobs. Poverty. You freeze in the winter. You get one day of summer sometime in July.

We decided to climb Mt. Kitahdin. It's the highest Maine mountain , up at the end of the Appalachian Trail. Michael, of course, picked the fastest, steepest, hardest route up. And we only had a few hours of daylight to get to the top and come back down.

So up we go. And as you go, all the shrubbery and greenery get smaller and smaller and smaller. We actually came on the trail of a moose. We got the cameras out, but the only shot we got was all chocolate brown, the rear of the moose.

My husband was ALWAYS 20 - 30 feet ahead of me. It was my uncle Donny who pulled me and my mom and his wife and my youngest cousin up over the ledges.

But who's at the top first? Who's yelling, "I'm here! I'm here!" Take one guess. Pure Michael. Fast and furious on his way to the top. He's not a quitter. There's nothing he's ever, EVER endeavored in that he didn't finish. He commits completely.

Mentoring people is exactly where he needs to be. He totally loves it. He breathes it. He'll be there for you. When you call, if it's a bad time, he'll set you up when it is a good time. He's great with everyone. You can totally depend on him.

"Utter Disappointment" Wasn't Very "Utter" For Michael

He wants YOU to feel HIS passion. Doesn't matter to Michael who you are, a CEO or a stay-at-home mom. Race, religion, color, nothing matters. If this business is YOUR passion, and you want his help, he'll mentor you until you're where he is in this industry.

I listen in on the Coaches Corner call he does on Saturday night. I'm amazed. I'm amazed at the people and how they bare their souls. I see their growth. I hear them in the beginning. Then I hear them two months later. It's truly amazing for me.

I haven't been as involved in the business as Michael. We've had 2 children, a big house, dogs, cats, a horse … the occasional alligator. But we're downsizing now.

I'm excited that I'll be more involved and can spend more time with Michael. Our son & future daughter-in-law are buying a home. So the schedule is changing. I'll get to work with Michael.

When we started in MLM back in the 70s, my thought was, this is totally unheard of. I was raised where you worked a job 9 to 5. There wasn't any other way. The whole idea was new.

Our first company was a stepping stone that didn't last long. But Michael totally believed in network marketing, even 25 years ago. He's stayed right with it. There've been ups and downs, for sure.

You may find this hard to believe, but I have seen Michael in utter despair, complete disappointment. I used to tell him this little cliché: "You know, you can't climb a slimy wall."

Many, many years back, in a long-ago network marketing business, we got undercut by our sponsors. They flat-out betrayed us. The effort, the energy, the relationships you thought you were building, they crumbled. It can leave a hard, bitter taste in your mouth.

But Michael has this uncanny ability to just keep going. He picks himself up and does it all over again. He's not a quitter. He's compassionate. He's dedicated. He's committed. There's no swaying him. Michael will follow through.

And so he said to me, "Linda, I know. I know as well as I'm sitting here, looking at you, taking this breath of air, THIS is going to work. I can make this work. I know the right company is out there. I know the right people are out there. I'm going to make this work."

And I believed him. And he was right.

Personally, I have more of a sense of commitment direction than Michael does. I'm the list-maker. I know ahead of time what my plans are every day next week.

He Makes Up His Own Rules

Michael, on the other hand, is totally spontaneous, "Let's do it now. And not just this - let's do these other hundred things now, too." He has a level of excitement that is beyond belief. I do my best to slow him down at times. I put my 2 cents in when I'm not sure whether it'll be accepted.

Michael ignores rules. He takes a positive, positive approach. I'm amazed at some of the people he mentors. You hear their negativity. It could be a 20-minute phone call or 3 hours.

But he completely turns them around with his positive attitude and positive thought on where they can be, what this industry can do for them. If they just believe in themselves, then they can do it. He feels like, with his background, if HE can do it, anybody can.

Michael Is a Very Sincere Stalker

He Loves Working With YOU

He knows there are a lot of people now with very true, deep feelings for him. There are no smoke & mirrors here. Michael is real. What he does is real.

He had the vision before, the dream. But discovering his own total WHY was the turning point. It's a complete sense of satisfaction for him at this point in his life to know he's doing good, making an impact on other people. He gets that positive feedback through cards and email and phone calls.

It's wonderful. I support him totally. I'm a "stealth listener" on his calls. I do the feedback after-hours. We talk about this person and that person. I have great compassion for those who've been burned so badly by people who've been false to them.

I value our friendships. We have so many friends, it's hard to keep up with the schedule. And I love it. People are wonderful. And they're all so different.

His Motor Never Stops

Sometimes I tell Michael, "You know, there are only 24 hours in a day. You're trying to put 30 in there. Stop it!" And get him on a trip or at a convention? Unbelievable! There's just no way to keep up with him. He goes around the clock.

The demands on his time are enormous. I've got to teach him how to use the microwave. All he can make now is popcorn. He needs to learn to do some of these one-step meals.

Sometimes he'll start a call and 4 hours later he comes out, rubbing his eyes. I try to remember he's going to get dehydrated talking like that. The lamps, the computer ... it's an incredible amount of heat. Not to mention the heat Michael gives off!

I believe in this with all my heart. My core, my inner happiness in life, is the relationships we've built. Michael tells me I'm Yellow. I'm not going to disagree with him. If he's happy with me Yellow, I'll be Yellow. Once in awhile he sees the Red & Blue in me.

You can call me Yellow, call me Green, call me Blue. I don't care what you call me. If I like you, I like you. I have this inner sense, a silent reading of people. I instantly know about them. We have hundreds of wonderful friends that Michael has trained. It does my heart good to hear what people say. Michael feels wonderful.

I love it that Michael moves apples around on the kitchen counter to show me how this business works. The people, the industry, where we've been, where we're going, I am right there. It's an incredible ride, a wonderful journey. We've made phenomenal friends along the way. And it just gets better. It's excellent.

Procrastination Is The Silent Killer In Network Marketing Today

People in network marketing today have a tendency to get ready to get ready. They do that because they want to avoid pain. There is an old saying that if there is no pain then there is no gain. So what is one of the biggest mistake that networkers make when building their network marketing business? They do things really haphazardly and treat this business as a guessing game. Networkers fail to learn from their own history, due to the fact that they have been told to often the word "you can't". And people these days have been acting just like followers with respect to the status quo. Why should one do that when obviously your boss does not owe you a thing and you obviously do not get something for nothing? Makes no sense. If you put out mixed message into the universe then you will get nothing.
When you ask someone something and they tell you that they will try, then tell them forget about it. Because the word try means that I just don't want to hurt your feelings and I do not want to committ. Those people will drag you down in your business that its not going to be funny.
So if you have that little negativity running in your mind then change your thoughts just like you change your friends. Because if you do not then you will have dumped your life.

How To Prevent Your Best MLM Business From Being Wrecked

When you have the best mlm business then most people who know your name will try and destroy you. How do you prevent this? Well first of all you need to say your self talk 500 times per day in order to block the garbage from entering your head to begin with. You must be the person who makes decisions quick and change them very slowly.
Here is a word picture to help you understand it. Think about when people are jealous of you when you have lost weight. They will invite you more frequently than you expect them to go out with them for a good steak. The invitation does not come from desperation but it comes from jealousy. They want to ruin you as a person so that you can be like them and here are the consequences for choosing to give in. The people whom you think are your friends are really your enemies. Because if you get sick from having the wrong food and they told you to eat it, they will not be there for you when you are in the hospital. And if someone tells them to come visit you they will say, I can't make it because I am too busy.
Also remember if you are not used to being successful and have hung around the wrong crowd it is going to rub off on you. Here is another food for thought. Think about robbers for instance who steal things. At first they hate crime. But then as they do it more and more and go in the negative direction of the Slight Edge it becomes automatic and they are criminals without even knowing it, due to the fact that their subconcious mind which is dumb as a box of rocks can not tell the difference between a truth and a lie.
If someone orders you what to do visciously you'd better learn how to say NO just like you say no to drugs. If they do not stop it do not walk away. RUN!!! If you only walk your brain is going to be filled with their junk and get you in trouble, due to the fact that its just like a computer. And as everybody knows we save files onto the computer and onto our hard drive. It really is no different.
Lets say you have to put up with negative people. Only open your mouth when you have no other choice. The rest of the time close your mouth. Because you do not want to have those people around in your life due to the fact that they are too toxic to be around. They want to make you ask yourself the question of "Who do you think you are?", "Why do you need that boat?"
Make your decisions today quickly and change them slowly. Copy the person whom you would like to be. Just like when it was the song "Proud To Be Like Mike" on the radio back in 1992, when Michael Jordan was the star!!! If teenagers back then did what he did for fun back then, so can you!!! In fact if you are not having more fun building your best mlm business in network marketing today, you are doing it wrong!!

Personal Development In Network Marketing Today Itself Is Not Sufficient

My good friend and mentor Tom Big Al Schrieter says that person development is good to have and it makes us better people. Everybody knows that personal development and no action brings no results.
For the people who sharpen the ax too much, consider this. You go to a party and you are looking for a date. Lets say you do not know what to do, you will ask ridiculous question is, so how old are you? how much do you weigh? are those your real teeth? That scares the ladies away and they no longer want to have anything to do with you. When a women decides to make room for a man in her life, she does it by what the man says within the first 30 seconds. And she tells herself afterwards something either positive or negative.
Everybody says that one negative thing destroys all chances for success in life, however can a negative person still get a date at a party? Yes of course, if he knows what to say and do with the girls. Think about most of the girls who hang out at the football game, they are cheering their boyfriends who are for instance the all star quarterback and the linebacker etc. They frequently can be macho and put others down during the football game, however when it comes to girls, they are the ones who know what to say and do.
What if there was no personal development around, what would we do? We would figure out what to say and do just like we would study for a test. I bet you that if we took action right away we would get results much sooner than if we were just a couch potato sharpening the ax over and over.

Are You A Wandering Generality Or Are You A Meaningful Specific?

Everybody knows that without using your 24 hours wisely you will be a wandering generality. All of the people who had built empires like Bill Gates, Michael Dell and Robert Kyosaki had the same 24 hours as we had. They asked themselves this one fundamental question that most people miss: "Will this activity moving me closer to my goals or further away from it?" No matter how boring or dumb the task was, they did not leave this step out of the equation. Zig Ziglar mentioned that we need to overcome obstacles if we want anything in life. Specifically if we get driving directions to a wedding reception and follow it, why can't we follow directions that will one day lead us for every day being a birthday? It makes no sense. This challenge is not limited to network marketing but too many people think of it just like people thought it would never be possible for everyone in their homes to have a personal computer. One basic mlm truth is that you have to time yourself with respect to how much time you spend on the phone with your prospect. For the first time it should be five minutes but NO longer than ten minutes, due to the fact that your prospects time is limited. If he thinks he has to spend more time than that, he will have exited the building!! You need to know how much time you speend per day on Facebook, how much time you will devote for a blog. Think about the minutes you waste doing non productive activities during the year. Lets say you waste for instance 5 minutes per day, and you work the business 350 days of the year. That is 1750 minutes wasted. That is almost 18 hours right there. You could have had 17 more hours of prospecting for new prospects. Maybe during those 17 hours you could have had one of your five key leaders whom would build you an empire and you would want to go on a one month cruise with. Its sad that we do not pay attention to the small things. There is an old saying that small things make a big difference. However, if you are not part of the solution by taking action now then you will remain part of the problem. Lets just do it and do it and do it and be part of the solution.

Quitting Too Soon In Network Marketing Today Is Crazy!!

If people quit too soon in network marketing today they are crazy in the first place. They have brought with them into the game the excuse of quitting. People have quit their jobs, the gym, church, marriages and sometimes they committ suicide.
Here are some excuses why people quit. When people got started they were not clear what they wanted in the first place. Their why was only 70% and their obstacle was 72%. They threw their words in the trash by saying that they wanted more money and they wanted to be successful. That is too general. Everybody says that you have to have goals that are specific with deadlines or else you are day dreaming. In addition if your why does not make you cry, that means that you don't have one!
People think that they will be spoonfed with the silver spoon and the oatmeal in their mouth. In other words they have no common sense. People subconsiously think that it is net play marketing and not network marketing. If they want to have financial freedom they need to disregard the dreamstealers and other peoples opinions. They think they know that they live their lives but they let other people run their lives just like a micromanager does. There is an old saying that if you are influenced by other peoples opinions when you decide to do something, you will not succeed in any endeavor.
Naive networkers assume that cooking their breakfast in the microwave will make them rich. They are foolish enough not to ask themselves "Do I really know who I am following?" They are following people who never built a business or people who heard stories about it. What if someone who never has been a doctor and comes up to you and says. "I am going to teach you to be doctor and tommorow morning you will have your first patient whom you will operate open heart surgery?" Of course you would not listen, but the funny thing is that people are too trustworthy of the ones who do not know what they are talking about. They fail to tell themselves everybody knows that if you have not done something you can't ask other people to do it. If bells were ringing in their head, they would STOP IT and think for themselves.
Practice self-development just all the other self made millionaires have. You want to have bees attracted to you like honey to make the big money!!! Whoever stays closest to the fire and takes the most massive action using the things that work today wins!!

Determine What Is A Pyramid Scheme Or Sleep With Bubba Tonight

Imagine joining your first network marketing company today. You are excited like a baby just right after your friend had shown you the business and the products that are being sold are coffee. You join because of what your friend said and did, not because of the product. Lets say a coffee costs $6.00 which is of course way more expensive than the ones being sold at Dunkin Donuts. But you are too easily influenced by your friend. Here is what you and your friend nor your upline know. The government did not care about what is a pyramid scheme 15-20 years ago as he does today. Would you buy this product if there was no compensation plan attached to this product? Do you get paid for recruiting prospects into the business? If the answer to the first question is no and the second question is yes than it is a pyramid scheme.

Stop Struggling Today MLM Help Is Here Whether You Are Far Or Near

Everybody knows that there is mlm help with Mentoring For Free. However some people still do not get the mlm truth they need to hear. Why is that? The reason is this. Many people have been screwed up all these years ever since they were ten inches tall, and they came into this industry with this garbage make up stories. Well my good friend and mentor Michael Dlouhy had his check stolen twice in his career. On both occasions he built to the top of the payplan only to find out that his organization was wrecked. He then found out that it was not an accident. So then what he did was join one hundred companies to see what worked and what did not work. And he found out that policies and procedures were written by the attorneys to protect the company owners from getting into trouble for doing illegal things. Most network marketers know that their policies and procedures are over 10-100 pages long. However they do not bother paying attention to it and neither does their upline. When on occasion a distributor asks what is it the upline mistakenly says do not worry about it without even knowing the consequences. If you are someone who is making lets say $1000 per month it is trouble of course, however if you are a top money earner it is even BIGGER TROUBLE because if the company needs to have a bigger building or a fancy car just to show off to their friends how good they are. I know of a company where it says in the policies and procedure 29 times termination. And when the company requires that you sell each month by saying ongoing sales is another sign of trouble, due to the fact that you gather customers one time and get paid on what you did once forever!!! The ongoing sales is not the name of the game, you are not a grocery store where you go to work every day and get paid, and if you do not show up you get nothing. Do yourself a big favor if you need any help reading your policies and procedures contact us as soon as you can. Why waste time going through the same troubles Michael had? Makes no sense.
In addition buying leads is a scam as well. When you buy leads you are literally getting tainted blood into your life. Those people are the ones who have been resold, and resold and in their eyes you are a follower not a leader. People have goals, desires and dreams. Why bother doing it, if 95% of the worlds population does not like being sold? No sense. You obviously do not receive something for nothing. Rather study people with the Colors To Success. You will find out what turns a prospect on and what turns him off. It is not exclusive to mlm, you have to know it in life as well or else people can keep a distance from you and you will not understand why.
For you to get a stream of prospects when you are not at your computer, you gotta learn not only keyword research and getting your article #1 on google. But you must have backlinks as well. It makes your rank highest on google, but more importantly it brings more traffic. Lets say you go away on a weekend trip, you have leads waiting for you to call them when you return. It is what happens today.
If you are doing what has worked five years ago and ten years ago along with your home meetings and hotel meeting you are just wasting your time. People will say I am busy and it will not duplicate.

Network Marketing Belief With Prospects Correctly Today

Everybody knows that many network marketers procrastinate because they do not know what to say and what to do when they come in contact with a prospect. Think about when a guy goes to a party and is looking for a date. It takes 30 seconds for the lady to decide whether she wants to make room for him in her life, just like choosing whom to make room for in the car. You may feel guilty that you did not have a chance to tell her that you will be the fabolous man or about your business opportunity, but put your emotions aside NOW. You hang up within 30 seconds of a telemarketer calling you up, so ACCEPT it that it is the same thing in real life. Another example is when you are jogging with someone else. When you get ahead of him in jogging it is the same thing as when your prospect lost your attention and turns it to a different topic. Also do not waste your time with the old method of FORM it does not work because you will have blown your opportunity to give your presentation and you will look like a fool in the prospects eyes when he has to ask you the question. "Is this an interview?"
Here is what I learned from my good friend and mentor Tom Big Al Schrieter on his CD on How to Manipulate Prospects for fun an profit. For example I have learned this 30 second sentence from that CD. "Many people are financially strapped and do not have the money to take a vacation, however some people have figured out a way to earn an extra paycheck so that they can go on a Carribean Cruise. When the prospect does not believe you for whatever reason make sure that it is done in the first 30 seconds or else you are not working your business right. If there is no mlm belief then and only then at that point you know you did your job. However if he says tell me more and you see that he is not busy then tell him, I got a good story takes about two minutes wanna hear it? But when he is busy ask him when will you have two minutes? If he says I don't know. Just get his contact info and give him your card. Then let him know that you will contact him in a few days.

Everything what you have in life has a recepie. Do you want to have tasty food? Then here is the truth. There is no such thing as something for nothing!! You are going to have to plan your day the night before you go to bed. It has to be intelligently planned out because if you skip a crucial activity your business will decline. If we obviously get during our day jobs paid for the 8 hours to please the boss, then what reason do others have to get without giving? Remember that you must have your money blueprint with you at all times and determine how much money you want to earn per month. If your blueprint is $60,000 per month and you earn $70,000 per month, then your earnings will fall back to $60,000 per month. A big mlm truth is that flash success in this industry rarely happens. And when it appears it is for a reason.
Frequently you will hear a speaker at a training opportunity mention that after he just got started a few people joined him and because he became the top money earner within a month, they needed a truck to bring him his gigantic bonus check.
It may have been true that the speaker reached the top of the pay plan quickly, but due to the fact that the time was limited for the meeting, the whole story was not told.
Here is why the speaker could have built a downline in just 30 days: She had been for the last two decades in mlm and knew a lot of people who knew, liked and trusted her. Those people had years of experience in network marketing and as a result they sponsored many people fast.

Taking correct action to get mlm results means doing the things that you do not want to do but you do it anyway. Everybody knows that many people these days treat mlm as a hobby because they worry what this person says and that person says. And as a results they get sidetracked.

There are two people person A and person B. They start out the business on the same day. 6 months later they earn the same amount of money $1000 for instance, 12 months later person A earns $5000 per month. There are two types of people in the world, those who get ready to get ready and those who take massive and immediate action. Those who get ready to get ready are the ones who spend their time doing things that they do not get paid for to avoid talking to people. Here is how you determine the best network marketing company. The president of your company must be willing to listen to your ideas on how he and his staff can improve the organization. The people running in the company can not have any greed and ego by bragging to everyone what they have built. There is an old saying that you can not fool most people, because it will bite you in the back. Without the distributors gathering customers and sponsoring people who repeat the process the company is nothing. The only responsibility the company has is to send you a check each week along with products each month, nothing else. Everybody says that the company owners are lying through their teeth when they show off their fancy cars. Due to the fact that they did not do anything.
My good friend and mentor Michael Dloughy used to do consulting for network marketing companies and here is what he found out at the time about a particular service company. At the time there were 100 people in the company who signed up for the service. Within 90 days 96 people were gone due to the fact that the people have not used it. He then told the people do get the workers to stop playing solitare and contact the people who signed up for the service and explain to them what would happen to them when they used it. They paid Michael for the consulting but by the time the workers contacted the product users it was too late to get them back. As a result of that the company owners got into Massive debt due to the fact that they paid too little to the distributors in the field and when the distributors were gone, the owners could not afford to upkeep the buildings.
If it had been distributors first company second then none of the damage would happen. They should have had low overhead and pay most of the money back into the distributors pockets!!

Have your list of people whom you want to contact the night before because if you sound like you are finished cramming with that or anything else, people will notice it on the phone and it is going to be game over for you. That is with planning. Building rapport is establishing a relationship if you do not have one and showing them the business. Review is doing what you have done and adjusting is learning from your mistakes and not doing it next time around. Remember when you apply those steps and sacrifice yourself today so that every day can be a birthday then you will say to yourself I am glad I did. As you build your network marketing group and sponsor people you have to think like a baseball coach that puts together the line up. You want to think of your mlm group as the line up because you want to know whom should you spend the most time with. Think about a baseball coach he wants to win the game. You Can Not Have An Agenda In Network Marketing Today

You can not have an agenda in network marketing today or else people will avoid you. Your prospect is interested only in himself when you speak to him. If you brag about yourself and your company it is going to sound really foolish. That is the same result as if you would brag about yourself in the real world. You have to be right in the NOW when you are dealing with your prospect. His time is very limited and you are not the first person whom he spoke to. Even if you have not even made a dime in network marketing yet, if you do act like the top money earner at all times without needing the money and only being a friend to your prospect then you are way ahead of the game. Randy Gage did not wait to be successful to approach the professional who had lots of success in his business. In fact he did not earn ten dollars. But he approached them as he would anyone else. He felt that it did not matter if he had money or not. Randy stepped out of his comfort zone and the successful people were drawn to him because they liked him and trusted him.

Whenever you talk to your prospects and like them you need to mention to them in the first conversation besides your story that you want to have coachable people who will follow instructions and people whom you want to go on a 30 day cruise with. If your prospect does not have those traits when he enters the game just let him go.

Champion MLM Secret Is To Be A Critical Thinker By Thinking Outside The Box!!

The number one mlm secret is to be a critical thinker. Everybody knows that successful people do tasks to build their empires while unsuccessful people watch television while having their Jack Daniels Whiskey. Henry Ford had to tell the college graduate engineers to produce the V8 engine but the graduates whined that it was impossible. By the third time Henry told them to do it, he had enough of talking to the wall. Because of that he told them to go mastermind with the workers on the assembly line. They masterminded and teamed up with the assembly line workers and the mission was accomplished.

What does this have to do with us? We are told by our friends and family that it is not normal to be involved in a network marketing business. What we should have in mind is how do they know? Have they done their research? The answer is no. It is unspoken but they want to save you from being successful because they themselves are not. Just like when one crab tries to escape from the bucket the other crabs drag the departing back into the bucket.

In life as well we have to also think outside the box. We can not listen to anyone who just tells us what to do, we have to ask ourselves. What value are we getting out of this? Because they can sabotage our business by sucking our energy with their convincing ways.
